What is sleep training?
There are many definitions of what sleep training is. At Hush Baby, sleep training is the process of teaching a child who is 16 weeks weeks of age (counting from her due date) the skill of being able to sleep independently.
WHY SLEEP TRAIN?
A SLEEP TRAINED BABY WILL:
Independently fall asleep for naps & at bedtime
Put themselves back to sleep as they wake
Wake up at an age-appropriate time in the morning
Take age-appropriate naps during the day
My approach
My goal is to help families achieve the quality sleep they need to be happy and healthy. My process starts by listening to my clients, learning about their particular challenges, and formulating a strategy for each client to suit their needs. I provide parents with one-on-one guidance on how to teach their children to fall asleep and stay asleep unassisted.
